I can only start this note as an artist and  my project 64 yoginis. I had started painting yoginis in 2015 and it took 4 years to complete. During this period, I started understanding the concept of  feminine power. I was blessed with the opportunity to be part of ALL ladies league, a storehouse of powerful women network beyond cast religion and borders. True meaning of empowerment is  a realization of our inner energy which is subtle in you. Love for Yoginis and Bala Tripurasundari kindle a fire in me to do my part of my social responsibility. She is the force behind the formation of Kankali.

I have been an entrepreneur for most of my life .My experiences taught me the importance of marketing, branding, the revenue model for sustainability for any form of art. Art in all its various forms has always been in the process of evolving and will continue to do so in times to come. However, not all artists and certainly not all art forms have been able to match up to the evolving times which has resulted in artists facing deprivation and lack of patronage or adequate remuneration for their creations which has led to certain art forms losing on their charm and elan.

Having all this at the back of my mind, I spent months formulating a strategy to come out with a feasible solution for the Arts community and their development through the ‘Kankali Trust’. I have understood the importance of a team of like-minded individuals who share the same passion for seeing your idea come into reality. She blessed me with great and strong friends with same passion to give shape to this vision. My exposure to WICCI Arts Leadership Council instigated to pursue my dream of Kankali with my team

As inspired to form this organization as a platform to bridge the artists for economic independence towards building a sustainable network. ‘Building your network is like building your net worth. We aim to handhold and create women-oriented enterprises as our first step towards creating a ‘Creative Economy’.

I firmly believe that arts and culture have the power to bind people beyond borders. Building a culturally enriched nation that acknowledges all forms of art and artists. Nurture a social ecosystem that gives recognition and patronage to art and artists while ensuring their rights and economic independence. Develop a heritage that will nurture art and artists from all disciplines providing them new avenues for growth.

The Trust will work in collaboration with other organizations at regional, national and international levels to enhance the art and develop artists. We will be having a physical museum for 64 yoginis and the center of arts and culture.

Thank you for being a part of us and helping the artist community regardless of where they live. I look forward for your support and Collaborations

With deep gratitude,
