The works individually and the series as a whole represent the tension at the intersection of technology, politics, the environment and mythology. Exploring man’s relationship with the current environment, and the inherent conflict within selves and the exterior world, there is also an attempt to negotiate the past and future. The endless creative and destructive cycle of nature, its impact on the nation state and its people, and the conflicts that emerge from these disparate viewpoints and vested interests are juxtaposed in these works.
