Ravikumar Kashi

The work is made from freshly formed handmade paper which is malleable and has the capacity to take impressions. The forms come from the negative area of DIY wood models which one can assemble into airplanes, ships and other objects by joining the multiple pieces. These are pieces which are discarded, and they form the negative area in the mould, to create a restructuring of the void.

‘Restructuring the void’ (set 1 and 4) (2020)

Cast mix of cotton rag, hanji, daphne pulp.

Each piece 19 X 16 Inches.
