The works are based on observation of day to day mundane life of the Indian middle-class, their family situations and their aspirations. A keen sense of detail, while adopting peculiar manners and styles in the drawing is evident in his works. Motifs from popular culture and consumerism, stereotypes, kitsch and humor often appear as part of the imagery.
